The Department of Social Services provides an array of financial and other related services to families in Pickens and other counties across the state of South Carolina. Many services are provided in times of crisis and also can be complex and difficult to understand. This web site was created to better explain the services and programs in an effort to make them more accessible. Pickens County DSS is interested in ensuring that all citizens are aware of the services available and everyone is able to access them.
